Terms
Plain-English terms for using Gigroo and buying tickets here. Nothing in them limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Listings
Most shows on Gigroo are listed for information and sold by another ticket seller. We take care to keep listings accurate, but dates, lineups, prices and on-sale times come from organisers and sellers and can change. Always check with the seller before you buy. When you buy from another seller, their terms apply, not ours.
2. Tickets sold on Gigroo
- Who you’re buying from. Gigroo sells tickets as agent for the show’s organiser. The organiser is responsible for putting on the show.
- Prices. The price shown includes our booking fee (4% + $1 per ticket). There are no extra fees at checkout.
- Your tickets. Each ticket has a QR code that can be scanned once. Keep it private: whoever shows it first gets in.
- Entry. The venue and organiser set entry conditions such as age limits and ID checks, and may refuse entry under those conditions.
3. Cancellations, changes and refunds
- If a show sold on Gigroo is cancelled, you’ll get a full refund of what you paid, booking fee included, to your original payment method.
- If a show is postponed or significantly changed (for example a new date or a different headliner), you can ask for a refund if you can’t attend or no longer want to.
- Otherwise tickets can’t be refunded just because you change your mind, unless the organiser offers it.
- These terms don’t limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Email hello@gigroo.com.au to request a refund.
4. Reviews and content
Reviews must be your own genuine experience. We publish genuine reviews whether positive or negative, and remove spam, abuse and personal information.
5. Using the site
Don’t misuse Gigroo: no scraping at volume, automated ticket buying, reselling tickets above face value where the law prohibits it, or attempts to break security.
6. Organisers
Organisers who sell on Gigroo agree to run the event as described, handle entry, and fund refunds for cancelled or significantly changed events. Payouts are made by Stripe under Stripe’s terms.
